NYM was founded in 1975.

This is a home in which our spirits prosper
Here is a place where F/friends come to unite
This is a gathering where our hearts can open
This is a camp where teens hike in the night.
Friends of all ages gather here together.
This is a setting where our hearts take flight.
 
For fifty years this group has met together
On many sites, with differing groups of Friends
We’ve helped each other grow and learn and deepen
And worked to help our world’s troubles mend
Longstanding friendships form among attenders
Each time we come, we’re thrilled to meet again.
 
Over the years we’ve worked to build and strengthen
To reach consensus when we don’t align
We’ve built a home where many show their true selves
We see the children play and laugh and shine
We love the beauty of the camps we meet at
Sometimes we feel the touch of the divine.
